It’s hard to find great dental providers in a city saturated with so many general dentists and specialists. Dr.Usmani and his staff are personable, kind, thorough, and caring. You can also tell from the moment you walk into PerioCraft that you’re stepping into a clean, inviting space. The doctor goes out of his way to check on all of his patients post-operatively which can help ease some anxiety when the intrusive thoughts of “omg is this normal?” start inundating the brain. I’m grateful that I was referred to Dr.Usmani by a coworker of mine and am looking forward to referring others to his practice and my future visits with him and his team. Thank you for taking excellent care of me from start to finish!

f you're looking for an oral surgeon who combines exceptional skill with genuine compassion, I cannot recommend Dr. Usmani highly enough. I was extremely anxious about my procedure, which involved a tooth extraction, a bone graft, and a dental implant. From the moment I arrived, my fears were immediately put to rest. Dr. Usmani personally took the time to address every one of my concerns, patiently explained the procedure, and made sure I felt informed and comfortable before we began. His entire team is incredibly detail-oriented, professional, and focused on patient comfort. Their priority was ensuring that I experienced as little discomfort as possible, and they succeeded—I had zero pain during the procedure using only local anesthesia. They offered thoughtful touches like a weighted blanket and the option to listen to music, making the experience surprisingly calming. I truly felt as though I was their only patient. The office itself is immaculate, welcoming, and exceptionally well organized. Going to the dentist is scary! So you can't blame me for putting it off for so long 😩 I made an appointment at PerioCraft on a limb, hoping & praying they could help with how bad things had gotten for me. Walking in with a lump in my throat and a knot in the pit of my stomach - I knew RIGHT AWAY everything was going to be ok when I opened that door and saw Aundra sitting there waiting to greet me with the warmest smile and such a positive, radiant attitude/ energy 🥹 She was the first light I had seen in such a long, dark tunnel of my self medical neglect. All of my fears and anxiety were just getting completely obliterated with every new member of their staff I'd encounter throughout my visit, including Dr. Usmani! He was soo patient, gentle, and tended to me with THE MOST grace I had ever been shown by any medical professional. The amount of kindness, warmth, grace, and genuine CARE I was shown by ALL of the staff at PerioCraft was absolutely overwhelming and has been like nothing I have ever experienced! I literally got soo emotional 🥹 A huge shout out also to Vanessa for being so amazing, sweet, and keeping such a great attitude while having to take what felt like 300 x rays! W

Excellent experience with dental implants at periocraft. Dr. Usmani explained every step clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. My implant feels perfect and my recovery was easier than expected. If you need a periodontist in Chicago specializing in dental implants this is the place to go.

I had a really great experience at PerioCraft and wanted to share it for anyone dealing with gum issues. After struggling with gum problems for over a year, I was referred to Dr. Usmani and I’m honestly so glad I found him. From the very first visit, he was kind, patient, and took the time to clearly explain my condition and treatment in a way I could easily understand. That really helped ease my worries. Even though my gums were in a bad state when I came in, he reassured me throughout the process and handled everything so smoothly. The procedure went really well, and I’ve seen a huge improvement since then. My gums feel much healthier, and I feel a lot more confident about my smile again. The entire team was also wonderful. Ms Aundra at the front desk is incredibly sweet, helpful, and always accommodating with scheduling and insurance questions. Dr. Dania, his assistant, is very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my last visit. Overall, I’m very particular about dental care, and I truly felt that Dr. Usmani genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I highly recommend PerioCraft and Dr. Usmani to anyone looking for a caring and professional periodontist

Dr. Usmani was excellent. The quality of care really was felt like some of the best I've had. In addition, Dr. Usmani immediately accommodated rescheduling my appointment due to a personal family situation, and remembered to ask me about it at my followup. It was a small detail that really made me feel like more than just a patient.

I want to start off by saying Dr. Usmani have change my life. When it comes to my teeth and gum disease. At first I was skeptical like any other, are they genuine and going to help me feel more confident in my self? Or are they doing this just to get pay because thats their job? When I first met Dr. Usmani, he welcomed me with open arms and treated me so well. He explained the problem to me in details so well, where I can understand it myself. Through out all the process and appointments I had with him. He had guided me and reassured me that, everything will be alright. He made me believe that theirs genuine people in this work field. I’m more grateful and honored to put my trust in someone like Dr. Usmani. I’m more confident than ever and this journey of my teeth has been long, but I enjoy every second of it. Especially if you have a doctor that actually cares for your well being. A 5 star for me, wish I can add more stars

Dr. Usmani is a wonderful periodontist, and I highly recommend him without hesitation. He has an amazing team, and I’m truly grateful for the care I received. I was referred to him by my dentist for severe gingival recession. I have significant dental anxiety and was honestly very scared to go through with the procedure, but I knew it was necessary. Dr. Usmani took the time to explain everything thoroughly and set expectations at every step, so I understood what the healing process and final outcome would look like. That helped ease my fears tremendously. He did an incredible job with the surgery. He explained that some minor recession could still occur, but the gum graft healed beautifully. I honestly haven’t seen this much healthy gum around my teeth in a long time, and I’m so happy with the result.Arigatou! The entire team was also wonderful. The receptionist (I’m so sorry I don’t recall her name) was warm, pleasant, and very helpful, and Sally, the dental technician, was especially kind and soothing during the procedure. I truly couldn’t appreciate them more.
